Privacy Policy

SendFix is a local-first PDF toolbox. We aim to keep your files on your device and explain here what the app and its third-party services may process.

This policy applies to the SendFix Android and iOS apps.

SendFix Privacy Policy

SendFix does not require an account and does not by default upload your PDFs, images, passwords, signatures, or processing results to SendFix servers.

1. Information we process

When you choose to import or share files, SendFix may process PDFs and images, file names, page counts, file sizes, processing status, saved signatures, and app preferences such as compression, naming, and interface language on your device. This information is used to select files, perform PDF operations, show your file list, and save settings. It is stored on your device by default.

2. On-device processing and storage

SendFix performs core PDF operations on your device by default. SendFix does not provide cloud file storage. Files generated by the Share Extension are written to SendFix local storage or the system App Group shared directory. A PDF password is used only for the current unlock or protection operation. Signatures in the signature library and processing results remain on your device by default. SendFix does not send this file content elsewhere unless you choose system sharing, email, or another third-party app.

3. Sharing, feedback, and third-party apps

When you use system sharing, email, feedback, or “Open in,” the relevant files, file names, or text are handed to the system or third-party app you select. That app’s own privacy policy and settings govern its subsequent processing, which SendFix does not control.

4. Analytics

SendFix uses Firebase Analytics to understand whether the app works, which features are used, and where crashes or performance issues occur. Analytics services may process app-instance identifiers, device and operating-system information, app version, language, approximate region, app interactions, and diagnostics. SendFix does not send PDF contents, file names, file paths, passwords, signatures, or document text to analytics services. We do not use local file contents for analytics. 5. Advertising

The free version may display advertisements provided by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Advertising services may process limited device and network information, advertising identifiers, IP address, app interactions, ad impressions, and ad clicks to show ads, limit frequency, measure performance, and prevent fraud. SendFix does not send PDF contents, file names, passwords, signatures, or document text to advertising services, and does not use file contents for ad targeting. Whether personalized ads are enabled also depends on Android or iOS settings, regional rules, and user consent. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google’s partner-site explanation.

6. In-app purchases

If you purchase SendFix Pro, we may receive the product identifier, purchase status, subscription status, and restoration result needed to confirm your entitlement from Google Play or the Apple App Store. Payment is handled by the relevant app store. SendFix does not receive your card number, payment password, or complete payment details. Purchases, refunds, and subscription management are governed by the applicable app store’s rules.

7. Retention and deletion

Files, temporary files, signatures, and app preferences are primarily stored on your device. You can delete output files in SendFix, clear temporary files using the in-app cleanup feature, delete signature-library contents, or uninstall the app and its local data. Copies stored separately by the operating system or other apps must be deleted in their respective locations. Firebase Analytics and Google Mobile Ads retain data according to their own policies and settings; you can manage related information through system advertising settings, Google Account settings, or controls provided by the relevant platform.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect local app data and try to minimize unnecessary data transfers. However, no device, operating system, or network service can guarantee absolute security. Use a device passcode, keep necessary originals backed up, and avoid processing sensitive files on untrusted devices.

9. Children’s privacy

SendFix is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us using the email below.

10. Your rights and contact

You can view, export, and delete SendFix files on your device, delete local signatures and preferences, and manage permissions, advertising, and privacy options in Android or iOS settings. We will update this page and its effective date when our data practices, features, or legal obligations change.
